Talk to your partner.
What you may find acceptable may not agree with your partner. Trying to surprise your partner with an evening of some friendly wife swapping may not be such a good idea. So guy’s communication is the key here.

If it’s your first time then it may not be such a bad thing to ask the other couple to get a test done if they are really serious about spending the evening with you and your partner then they probably would get you those test results and may even ask the same from you.
Avoiding pregnancy
Pregnancy can be avoided the same way as you normally do with a condom or having your spouse on the pill.
Set some common ground rules.
Sometimes a wife swap can lead to a broken marriage as feelings may develop between the two swapped partners.
